Like many auctioneers, David started out buying at auctions and selling in many ways. He attended The Texas Auction Academy in 2006 and went to work in the commercial side of the auction industry. Over the next 7 years, he obtained several certifications including PRI, The Professional Ringmen’s Institute, GPPA, Graduate Personal Property Appraiser, and CAI, The Certified Auctioneers Institute, served on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations committee to rewrite the auctioneer’s exam, and served two 3 year terms as director for the Texas Auctioneers Association. He founded Texmax Auctions, LLC in 2013, where he conducts business and estate liquidation auctions.

Rick began his work life in the scrap metal and manufacturing businesses. He started his first industrial surplus company in 1987. The surplus industry often works hand in hand with the auction industry. After several years of work in the auction arena, Texas Auction Academy was the next step. This is where David and Rick first met and began their friendship and working relationship. Rick is one of several licensed auctioneers on staff and the sales manager for our "industrial" sales. He brings vast product knowledge and experience to the table.

Morgan is a licensed auctioneer in the state of Texas with a degree in HR Management from Sam Houston State University. Although her dream job was to be a dolphin trainer, she feels fortunate to have found her calling as an auctioneer and has been with Texmax for over 3 years. As the Auction Project Coordinator, Morgan has had the opportunity to work with different types of people, each having a unique situation. She enjoys turning the auction process into something fun and effortless to the sellers, as well as exciting and lucrative for the buyers.

Cataloging Coordinator
Since October 2019 Ceci has provided her talents cataloging for Texmax. With over twenty years of customer service experience that include a wide range of skills and knowledge, Ceci's relaxed demeanor and gentle disposition promote a calming work environment while her cheerful attitude and great sense of humor create a fun atmosphere. Scarlett has been working in the auction industry for the past 6 years. Texmax welcomed Scarlett to the team in November 2019 where she has found her niche, specializing in jewelry and the unique. Marketing Coordinator
With an expansive work history across multiple industries, Sam's corporate experience spans over 2 decades and includes many accomplishments. However, Sam felt unfulfilled and eventually left an executive role in technology marketing to pursue her career in the Auction Industry. As a child of the eighties in Ft Worth, some of Sam's favorite memories are spending the day at Cora's Antiques, her grandmother's shop, After a brief stint with Texmax in 2019, Sam got a taste for the auction business and was asked to come back to the Texmax Team full time in 2020.

Shipping Coordinator
As Texmax Duchess of Shipping since 2021, Dee brings so much more to the Texmax Team. She offers authentic wisdom, varying perspective, and a strong moral compass which serve as reminders to always strive for greatness. Dee's spirited kindness and bubbly personality are constant motivators as she leads by example every day. Dee has proven pivotal to the team dynamic by establishing a collaborative culture of positivity and encouragement.
Susy
Pickup Coordinator
Born in Mexico and raised in the US, Susy has had the best of both worlds. A loving mother and basketball mom with over 20 years of professional cleaning experience, Susy joined the Texmax Team in 2021, contributing her multitude of talents to the Texmax Team: focused, driven, Susy’s attention to detail and customer first mindset makes her the perfect fit as Pickup Coordinator.
